A whirlwind 36 hours in Brisbane was pretty amazing.
After a fantastic nights sleep in the Emporium hotel (wow, could get used to that - pillow menu?!) and giving a talk at breakfast alongside Rick of Frank Creates (apologies if you were there and could hear my knees knocking together from terror), I had the first proper afternoon off in months that didn't involve a pile of laundry or dirty dishes. Having only a couple of hours I headed to the art galleries and saw the exhibition from the Prado and then onto GOMA, which I loved. An amazing space with beautiful art. Thanks to the Design Institute of Australia for arranging it all, it was really special and Leesa Hickey of DesignFront for your kind hospitality.
